Who we are
E-FACTS Inc. (“E-FACTS”, “we”) operates digital receipt infrastructure for retailers and shopper wallets at efacts.ca. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit our marketing sites, use shopper passes, or connect POS systems.
What we collect
Marketing site: contact details you submit (email, company) for demos or pass invites. Shopper products: receipt line items and cryptographic pass tokens—not payment card PANs. Enterprise products: POS transaction payloads needed to issue e-receipts, warranties, recalls, and ESG reports.
Zero-tracking marketing promise
We do not sell personal data. Marketing pages avoid third-party advertising trackers by default. Analytics, if enabled later, will be disclosed here before activation.
POS and shopper privacy design
Where configured, shopper identity at checkout uses ephemeral tokens rather than phone numbers or clear-text emails. Retailers remain controllers of their customer relationships; E-FACTS acts as a processor for receipt delivery and related services under contract.
Retention
Lead form submissions may be retained to respond to your request. Receipt and warranty data follow merchant agreements and applicable fiscal retention rules (including TSE / KassenSichV where deployed).
Your rights
Depending on your region (including GDPR and CCPA), you may request access, correction, deletion, or opt-out of certain processing. Contact privacy@efacts.ca or use the enterprise consultation form.
Changes
We will update this page when practices change. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
